Go Team Service Dog and Emotional Support Dog Etiquette Classes:
The GO TEAM Service and ESA Dogs conduct “etiquette training” to Service Dogs (SD) and Emotional Support Animals (ESA) throughout the country. These teams have already learned tasks and have perfected them. Teams must meet strict requirements to attend this class. We do not and will not allow “fake” service dogs in our Etiquette Classes. Many ESA and Service Dogs are owner trained. Go Team Service / ESA Dogs recognized the need for “etiquette” classes for these owner trained dogs and we are now offering the classes in conjunction with the therapy-crisis-airport dog classes.
In order to sign up for the Etiquette Training you must be observed and referred to the Etiquette Class by a GO TEAM Coordinator or recognized training facility, have a letter from your Doctor stating you would benefit from an ESA and the reason why -or- a letter stating you are in need of a service dog , your disability / or reason and tasks to be performed for you. Only fully trained SD are allowed in the training. Tasks must be perfected. By attending this class you learn what to do and most importantly what not to do in various public situations.
This is NOT a certification or proof your dog is an ESA or SD. Remember – There are individuals and organizations that sell service animal certification or registration documents online. These documents do not convey any rights under the ADA or ACAA and the Department of Justice does not recognize them as proof that the dog is a service animal. Anyone attending this class must notify us before you sign up for the training, so we can verify your paperwork.
The GO TEAM ESA & Service Dog Division are dedicated to teaching etiquette to the Service Dog and Emotional Support Dog Teams
